Most fitted security shutters cost from £445 + VAT (£534 inc VAT) for a small manual window shutter to £4,495 + VAT (£5,394 inc VAT) for a wide electric shopfront shutter. Industrial doors run from £2,495 to £11,995 + VAT, and repairs from £90 to £695 + VAT.

- Box position: external, behind the fascia or internal
- Powder coating to a RAL colour
- Security rating, such as LPS 1175
- Access, out-of-hours work and any new electrical circuit
Regional differences
Labour and travel costs vary across the UK. Published 2026 price guides show London prices for an electric window shutter roughly a quarter to a third above the Midlands, with the North of England, Wales and Scotland slightly below. City-centre access, parking and pavement licences add to the cost.

Do your guide prices include VAT?
Guide prices are shown both excluding VAT and including VAT at the standard rate of 20%. For a home, the price including VAT is what you pay.
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. After the survey you get a written price for the agreed specification, confirmed before anything is ordered or any work starts. If you change the specification, or a hidden problem such as a weak lintel is found during fitting, we price it and agree it with you before carrying on.
Why is the price after survey sometimes different from the guide price?
Guide prices assume a straightforward opening. The survey can find things a photo cannot show, such as weak structure, no power supply, awkward access or planning conditions, which are priced openly in your written quote.
