High-speed doors in Leominster: the essentials
Regular servicing keeps the sensors and safety devices working correctly on such a busy door. Vision strips in the curtain let drivers and pedestrians see what is on the other side.
Light curtains in the frame stop the curtain closing if anything is in the opening. High-speed doors open and close much faster than roller shutters, so the opening spends less time open.
What's included
- Light curtain safety protection
- High daily cycle rating
- Radar, loop, pull-cord and push-button activation
- Internal, external and cold-store versions
- Self-repairing curtain on many models
- Pairs with a roller shutter for security

Rules in England

Before you book in Leominster
Do you cover Leominster?
Yes. Leominster (HR6) is within our Herefordshire coverage, along with nearby Ludlow, Malvern and Stourport-on-Severn.
Do high-speed doors save energy?
They reduce the time an opening stands open, which cuts heat loss and draughts on busy doors.
Is a high-speed door secure?
Not on its own. The fabric curtain is for traffic and environmental control, so it is often paired with a roller shutter that closes out of hours.
What happens if a forklift hits the curtain?
On many models the curtain pops out of its guides and re-feeds itself on the next cycle, which avoids the damage a steel shutter would suffer.
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. After the survey you get a written price for the agreed specification, confirmed before anything is ordered or any work starts. If you change the specification, or a hidden problem such as a weak lintel is found during fitting, we price it and agree it with you before carrying on.
Will you take away my old shutter?
Yes. Removal and disposal of an old shutter is included when we quote for a replacement.
