Food, pharmaceutical and cold-store sites use them to keep zones separate. Insulated and cold-store versions are available for temperature-controlled areas.
The fabric curtain can be pushed out of its guides by an impact and re-inserted automatically on many models, reducing damage. Regular servicing keeps the sensors and safety devices working correctly on such a busy door.
Options we can specify
- Internal, external and cold-store versions
- High daily cycle rating
- Pairs with a roller shutter for security
- Fast-acting PVC fabric curtain
- Self-repairing curtain on many models
- Radar, loop, pull-cord and push-button activation

Rules in England

High-speed doors: common questions
Do you cover St Albans?
Yes. We survey, fit and repair high-speed doors in St Albans and the AL1 district, as part of our coverage across Hertfordshire.
Is a high-speed door secure?
Not on its own. The fabric curtain is for traffic and environmental control, so it is often paired with a roller shutter that closes out of hours.
Do high-speed doors save energy?
They reduce the time an opening stands open, which cuts heat loss and draughts on busy doors.
What happens if a forklift hits the curtain?
On many models the curtain pops out of its guides and re-feeds itself on the next cycle, which avoids the damage a steel shutter would suffer.
What warranty do I get?
Products carry the manufacturer's warranty, and the warranty for your shutter is set out in your quote.
Do you work with landlords and managing agents?
Yes. We quote, fit and service shutters for landlords, managing agents and facilities teams, including multi-site planned maintenance.
