How insulated roller shutters work, and what to ask for

Double-skin laths sandwich a foam core between two metal skins, which slows heat transfer through the curtain. Insulated curtains are heavier than single-skin aluminium, so the motor and barrel are sized to suit.

Insulated shutters reduce condensation on the inside of the door in cold weather. Thermal performance figures are quoted per product by the manufacturer, and we pass them on with your quote.
