LPS 1175 is a security standard from the Loss Prevention Certification Board, part of BRE. Rated shutters are used on pharmacies, jewellers, phone shops, plant rooms and critical infrastructure.

The certification belongs to the manufacturer's tested product, so it must be installed exactly as tested to keep its rating. Older Issue 7 ratings ran from SR1 to SR8; roughly, SR1 corresponds to A1, SR2 to B3 and SR3 to C5.
